That said, if you’re not aware, I’m taking Reader Insert requests! I thought this would be a good practice for writing other characters without using my own characters. Not just to get better with writing the characters, but to get better at writing other OCs for commissions. Not sure how well I’ll do with this, but I’ll give it a shot.
I do have some ground rules that I wish for people to follow. It’s nothing personal, but I feel like I need to make certain things known as well as set up set boundaries for what I am willing to do.
1. I will NOT be writing in the second person format.
I just won’t. I used to write that way, and I absolutely abhor writing it. I don’t mind reading it, of course, but it’s just not the style for me anymore. Apologies if that bothers you. Instead, I will be writing in my usual third-person format and replace any names with [Name] or [First Name/Last Name]. Things like that. Anything involving appearances will be included.
2. Do NOT Spam Request/Suggest MeThis is a big no-no. I will do my best to have feature comments that list which prompt you can leave a suggestion for (i.e., One prompt will be in one featured comment, and you will leave your suggestion in the appropriate comment). Spam requesting will NOT be tolerated, and your comment(s) will be hidden. Failure to listen will result in getting you blocked.
3. Do NOT Request Me to Write For YouThese Reader Inserts are NOT written for people who ask me to write for them; they are suggested by other users as to what I could write. I do not and will not accept requests that involve writing something for you for free. If you want me to write something for you involving your character or almost anything you’d like, you can commission me to do so.
4. Do NOT Suggest/Request Characters I Do Not Write AboutI don’t have a list specifically stating what I don’t write, but if you ask me, I will be happy to inform you. Some of the most notable ones that I will most definitely not write are mostly children shows, such as My Little Pony. Another one involves all YouTubers and real-life people. I know people love to obsess over YouTubers and find them attractive, but I will not be writing requests to fulfill fantasies. Besides, most of them have girlfriends/boyfriends, so I’d rather not step into that boundary.
5. NO NSFW CONTENT (For Now...)This rule may be subject to change, but as of right now, I will NOT be accepting any requests involving NSFW content. I’ll most likely change this later, and when I do, I will specify which characters/shows/games/movies I do NOT feel comfortable writing about. There will be NO EXCEPTIONS to this rule.
6. BE RESPECTFULI will only be picking one suggestion for each prompt, one that I believe I can do. Just because you requested something doesn’t always mean I will be able to do it. Do not be disrespectful and ask why I didn’t select yours. I will always try to be fair each and every time by picking a user who’s suggestion I haven’t taken, but if you’re requesting something that I’m not comfortable writing, I will NOT choose it. Failure to follow this rule will result in your comments being hidden and you being BLOCKED.
I believe those are all the rules I can think of as of right now, but you have any suggestions or questions, feel free to ask. If you would like to see the list of shows/games I’m most familiar with, please take a look at my commissions sheet to get an idea.
And now, here are the first three prompts to choose from!
River
Dust
Necklace
These are the prompts that I will be using for the first three reader inserts. For a list of the rest of the prompts, I will be using this sheet for reference. Please do no leave suggestions for future prompts; your comments WILL be hidden and ignored.
Thank you for participating, and have a great day/afternoon/night!

Regarding Patreon, it's been something I've wanted to start for a while. I did before, but I had no idea what kind of rewards I should give to people. I'm a writer, not a digital/traditional artist (which may change in the near future), so it's a bit harder on my part to figure things out.
That's where you guys come in. For anyone that's interested or may have an idea, I'd like to pass this one to you. What kind of rewards would you suggest for a tier? Granted, I do still have the page up and running now and have a couple tiers set up for this already, but I'm willing to make changes.
As of right now, this is the current set up with the current rewards along with the general idea of what I had planned:
The Bronze Tier (Pledging $1 or More)
Reading/viewing content prior to going live on other sites (Give or take a day)
Viewing sneak peeks for upcoming stories/drawings/projects/etc.
Access to patron-only live streams (May be subject to change)
Early notice to when commissions open
A 10% discount on all commissions with a special code unique to this tier (Code will change frequently)
[Note: The code will change every once in a while – maybe once a month or every time I open commissions – so people who are no longer patrons will not constantly use their code to get a discount.]
The Silver Tier (Pledging $5 or More)
All previous rewards
A chance to vote on what I should work on next
A 20% discount on all commissions with a special code unique to this tier (This is NOT in addition to the Silver Tier's discount!)
[Note: The code will change every once in a while – maybe once a month or every time I open commissions – so people who are no longer patrons will not constantly use their code to get a discount.]
The Gold Tier (Pledging $10 or More)
All previous rewards
Your name will be added on every piece I create as an extra thank you for your support
A 40% discount on all commissions with a special code unique to this tier (This is NOT in addition to the Silver Tier's and Bronze Tier's discounts!)
[Note: The code will change every once in a while – maybe once a month or every time I open commissions – so people who are no longer patrons will not constantly use their code to get a discount.]
The Platinum Tier (Pledging $25 or More)
All previous rewards
Able to view the plot of the next chapter/story/writing piece before I begin writing it
A 60% discount on all commissions with a special code unique to this tier (This is NOT in addition to the Gold Tier's, Silver Tier's, or Bronze Tier's discounts!)
[Note: The code will change every once in a while – maybe once a month or every time I open commissions – so people who are no longer patrons will not constantly use their code to get a discount.]
The Diamond Tier (Pledging $50 or More)
All previous rewards
Private chats via Google Hangout to talk about current/upcoming stories (Or to just chat about whatever)
An 80% discount on all commissions with a special code unique to this tier (This is NOT in addition to the Platinum Tier's, Gold Tier's, Silver Tier's, or Bronze Tier's discounts!)
[Note: The code will change every once in a while – maybe once a month or every time I open commissions – so people who are no longer patrons will not constantly use their code to get a discount.]
As you can see, I had an idea of what I wanted to have. I’m not 100% satisfied with it just yet, so I’m open to suggestions and additions! And if Patreon isn't something you're interested in, I also have a Ko-fi account that people can donate to if they wished. Of course, it's not required to do so in order to see my content, but it's there if people are interested.
Sorry if this post seems kinda short, too. I wanted to cut right to the chase instead of going on a tangent. I really appreciate you taking the time to do so and reading through this post, anyway, and I hope you have an awesome day/evening/night!
With Love,
VisionaryDame
Hey, everyone! Sorry for the long hiatus and lack of updates lately! A lot has been going on recently in real life that I haven't been able to get on as much as I thought I would. Been trying to get everything situated with school as well as updating stories in advance, but to say that I haven't been around is a lie. I usually stay up to date with things through the app, though I don't like to just leave random notes here and there saying that I'm still around - Though, it would be nice to make sure you guys know I'm still here, eh? - and writing everything out just feels better.
As of writing this, my first day of school - doing online to get things started - is this Saturday, so I may have to focus a lot of time doing that. However, that doesn't mean I'll be giving up on writing. Just having school as a primary focus before this. I'm sure you guys understand that, and I appreciate it.
Now, on to other things. I'll be doing the best that I can to update frequently, but I do have the next chapter of The King and I ready. It's going through some editing, but I'm very happy with how it turned out. I'll be working on the next chapter of Guardian's Awakening next, since I hit a bit of a road block trying to piece together the blank periods when Riku's doing who-knows-what with his time away from Sora. However, I will manage, and I'll have that up as soon as possible.
I believe I'll be opening commissions in the near future. With school underway, I'll have to fork over not just a lot of time, but money as well. I'll also be promoting my Ko-fi account on every post I'm making, though that'll be toward the end of the description, and I may even consider relaunching my Patreon.
Let me clarify this, however: You are under no obligation to donate any amount of money to me if you don't want to. There will never be a paywall for any of the content I create now and in the coming future. This is just a way for those that enjoy what I do and wish to support me have the option. Viewing my content, favoriting, and even leaving comments makes me continue to do the things I love to do regardless if any money is donated or not. So I'd just like to reiterate that point so that there's no confusion or misunderstanding. (Of course, if I suddenly started doing this, then the chances of my account being hacked are very high, but I'm taking precautionary measures to prevent that.)
Last thing I'd like to mention, since I just read a comment about this while writing this out! I'd like to state that, while I'm perfectly fine with people using my Blank Character Templates to create their characters, I am currently NOT okay with people taking the blank sheet and reposting it to other sites. For those that did not read that journal, I had an issue where someone had stolen my Kingdom Hearts OC Template, reposted it on a different site, and claimed all the credit for it. While it was resolved fairly quickly, I was very upset and disappointed to see that someone would do that. I'm okay with you posting the finished product on other sites, but I would like to have credit given where its due.
This goes for any works of writing that you have commissioned from me. It may be something you purchased, but it's still my work. I reserve the right to post it on other sites if I choose to do so, and I'd much rather keep it that way. Sorry if it sounds harsh, but I'd rather put my foot down on this subject and be clear. Failure to adhere to this simple rule will result in an automatic reporting (if it's possible on this every-so-confusing site) and blocking. I've blocked several people that were accused of art theft and scamming (not against me, but against others who caught them), so I won't hesitate to drop the hammer.
I'm not sure if there's anything else I have to say at the moment. I'll try my best to answer comments to the best of my abilities, so if there's anything you'd like to ask, feel free to leave a comment!
Thanks for understanding!
